With its rolling hills, rugged coastline, fantastic history, British culture and yes, even the food, the British Isles have captured our hearts from very early on. From Orkney to Torquay, from Manchester to York, there are only a few places on this isle we haven't visited.
Yes, it will rain and the sun will shine, and most likely the clothes you put on in the morning will be outdated by the afternoon simply because the weather is always changing. But, it is the climate that makes Britain's scenery undeniably one of the most spectacular. It is so beautiful that even a bad photographer will be able to capture the most stunning images. The lighting is truly incredible.
Once you get over the fact that vinegar on fries doesn't taste very good and beans on toast just seem a little weird, you are in for an excellent time! Meddle among locals at the pubs, enjoy the folk music - there is plenty of opportunity to get to know the Brits and their culture better.
